The Chase

Another interactive fiction game by me!

August was a bit of a mess of a month. I got into GodotEngine again and was having a class time until I tried to export my very basic and not particularly interactive game. It would not export no matter what I tried. (This was on August 31st.) So I had to suck it up and take the 4-day leeway from the original #onegameamonth ruleset. I don't love doing this, especially not the full 4 days, but it had to be done because I have work and other commitments and also I was really disappointed having to cancel that game's release.

However! That very night I began writing this brief (~1000w) game about chasing someone at night. Perhaps you will enjoy it, it probably took me about four hours to put together all told. It's more complex and I think more interesting than other IF games I've written, but it's also just more 'gamey' so who knows.
